Complex Turistic "Moara Dragaicilor"

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, decorated in a very authentic traditional Romanian style. Food is absolutely delicious. A great stop!

The reception and staff were very hospitable, even for a late-night arrival, which I appreciated. Breakfast was good, and the lady at the restaurant was friendly and attentive. The hotel was clearly clean, which was a positive. There’s a garden in the backyard that’s nice enough, and a swimming pool that seemed a bit neglected, likely because of the end of the season.

I stayed for one night only and had a mixed experience. I was given a room on the top floor, which was a mansard-style room, accessible only via a steep, wooden staircase. This is definitely something to be mindful of, especially if you have mobility issues, as there is no elevator in the hotel and the stairs are quite steep and challenging. The room itself was basic, and I was disappointed to find no water provided, empty refrigerator, especially given my late-night arrival. Additionally, the air conditioner was oddly placed behind the closet, making it difficult to access. The overall experience was okay for a brief stay, but I would recommend the hotel consider these factors to improve comfort and accessibility for future guests.
