Complex Turistic "Moara Dragaicilor"

The only positive thing is the position.

First unpleasant episode. On my arrival (18:30), there was no one at reception. I had to wait more than 10 minutes for someone to arrive. The guy, visibly annoyed, instead of welcoming me, immediately asked me how I wanted to pay (shameful)!!!! Second bad surprise. He gave me a "room" on the third floor, which is accessed through a narrow wooden staircase, steep and very dangerous. The room is actually a narrow and claustrophobic cubicle, arrdato with very old "furniture"; the bathroom is tiny, there is not even a towel rack. In my opinion, the facility does not comply with safety regulations and is completely inaccessible to the elderly and disabled. Terrible!

Easy check in / check. Friendly staff. Excellent well appointed room. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Free parking available. Nice food available in the restaurant next door.

The Hotel is on the National Road, I stayed one night on the way from Bucharest. The roomas are spaciuous and clean. Mattress and sheet are comfortable. Bath is big and has enough storage and hangers.

Restaurant staff next door very pleasant and the blonde young lady and the tall young man at breakfast was really nice as well

The hotel was overrated and overpriced, feeling more like a 2-star rather than a 4-star establishment. I am giving a 2-star rating mainly due to the kindness of some staff members. The rooms were traditionally decorated and tasteful, with AC but no remote, and the heating was excessive. We tried to contact reception, but the phone wasn't even plugged in. The breakfast was very poor, and when few rooms were occupied, the buffet was replaced with just an omelette. Despite our 4-night stay and requesting room cleaning, it didn't happen. When I raised this issue during check-out, the staff member argued rather than being sympathetic about the lack of towels for 4 days. On a positive note, the food in the restaurant next door was nice and traditional. Overall, I believe this hotel should invest in customer service training for frontline staff. I will not be returning.

We loved our stay at " Moara Dragaicilor" Our room was at the attic, but it wasn't a problem because it was so quite, the room isn't very big but it was ok for our needs. The breakfast was delicious and quite various. We served the dinner at their restaurant, which is awesome with a lot of traditional tools and the food was great!!! We recommend this accommodation!
