Seascale Hotel & Restaurant

Large room, apparently recently renovated. The prize for the sea view is definitely worth it, otherwise you'll probably just look at the foot of the castle hill. Bus stop with good service to St. Helier right next door.

Staff service seemed to be in over their head even when the restaurant wasn't busy and communication in english was rough at times, But the hotel itself was really nice.

I only stayed for a night and had a double bedroom which was quite spacious. The view was magnificent. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty but not enough options for me: it's all subjective though.I prefer a buffet style. The bathroom floor whilst dry, was very slippery, if you didn't have footwear on! The canopy made a lot of noise outside of my window when the wind blew it, so if you're a light sleeper, you might need earplugs. I suppose a quick fix would be to open the canopy.

The room was small but comfortable The restaurant sold a good selection of good food at a reasonable price. The location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent, right next to the Mont Orgueil Castle. The breakfast was really good as well. The room was nice, if a little dated and cold, though they did provide electric heaters.

Excellent location. Regular bus to St Helier right outside door. Very friendly helpful staff. Possibly the best cooked breakfast on the island. Everywhere spotlessly clean with lovely hardworking staff. View over harbour from room. Exceptional value for money.
