Breakfast was amazing - good variation - all fresh produce. Bed was comfy and the room exceptionally clean !

If I have to say something , would be the bathroom was very cold !

Very nice place to stay, friendly & helpful staff, nice room, food was great and lots of it too which was perfect after a big walk in the hills. The open fire in the bar / dining area made it warm and cosy and our room was nice and warm too with heating that we could control. Parking was free in the market place nearby. I'd already read the good reviews before coming, so wasn't surprised it was good!

"On the whole very enjoyable"

Room was very well proportioned and comfortable. Lovely Yorkshire breakfast. Friendly staff were really very helpful. Great for the shops and the Wensleydale creamery, all within walking distance etc

Restaurant was a little expensive with some of the deserts amounting to over £10.00
