Lovely comfortable bedroom with a view of the surrounding countryside The Old Red Lion has a very quaint old bar with an adjoining light & airy restaurant. We had a great evening meal there & the breakfast was excellent

Ann and Tom were wonderful hosts. We loved the garden in the late afternoon looking over fields, shared with ducks and cows. The pub and company were fabulous and the food was delicious. The views from the dining room added to the charm.

Bed was a little small.

The Location is fantastic. So peaceful and quiet with great views. Good location for a short drive to longleat, stour head, Alfred tower with a little village down the road.

There wasnt much not to like. As it is a pub occasionally you would hear visitors but equally as it is a pub it was freat to have a drink ln the pub garden overlooking the views. Breakfast was filling, full English and great tasting. Choice of yoghurt and fruit as well.

The hosts and staff were hospitable, the room was warm, comfortable and there was everything I needed. The food was delicious. The setting beautiful including the ducks. Thank you.
