Schimmel im Bad ( Wand und Fenster), das Zimmer war nicht versperrt bei unserer Ankunft, was jede Person dazu einlädt es zu benutzen und es war augenscheinlich so, sie Bettdecke zerdrückt und auch der Polster, daher mussten wir auf die Reinigung warten zumal auch der Teppich extrem schmutzig war. Sie waren bemüht diesen noch kurzfristig zu reinigen, was aber scheiterte. Da wie unwohl fühlten haben wir das Frühstück erst gar nicht eingenommen und abgereist

Staff were friendly enough

It was certainly more Shabby than Cic! It need a good clean, room was very dated, no chair or desk just a bed. The toilet leaked all night, the curtains were hanging from hooks. We ordered a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon, they bought a cheaper Australian wine when we pointed this out they said they would adjust it on the bill. When we came to pay the following day it was charged at the higher price - unbelievable. I have an allergy the waitress didn’t speak English and had to ask for assistance because she didn’t understand the issue - very frightening experience. The food was poorly cooked - overcooked beef , hard poached eggs. When we asked for mustard for the beef they had none, or deserts because they had a wedding the day before. Wouldn’t recommend, poor experience, rip off wine prices and lack of choice made this a poor start to our holiday.

A lovely place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good.

The huge rooms, the beautiful bar area and the grounds.

Although the rooms were huge, the one we were in could do with a bit of updating. (The cedar room) hooks off curtains so not hanging properly, pole not in middle of window. No cups or spoons. Handle broken off toilet. All minor things that could easily be fixed. But overall very happy.
