Nous avons surtout apprécié l'extrême gentillesse du couple qui nous a reçus, ils faisaient tout leur possible pour rendre notre séjour parfait ! Ils nous ont même préparé un petit déjeuner à emporter car nous devions partir très tôt. Nous avons aussi été agréablement surpris par le petit jardin privé attenant à la chambre. Nous avons adoré le chant des oiseaux au réveil. Les repas étaient délicieux et l'ambiance reposante et cosy (bougies allumées le soir, décoration soignée). Une maison douce, tout ce que nous aimons.

A beautifully designed hotel in Espita. Great rooms and pool facilities. The team were lovely, especially Higinio who did everything to make us very welcome.

The property is exceptional in style, cleanness and attention to details. The owner did an incredible job bringing in smallest details of the culture and heritage into the design. The room was spacious and beautiful, the bathroom was incredible in size and amenities. Pictures don't even capture the real beauty of the place. The breakfast was simple (continental) but fresh and well presented. The dining experience felt like an exquisite restaurant (very pricey dinner options by the way as noted by others). The parking was in the front on the street and it felt safe. Overall, there are only compliments about the property itself.

We reserved the property for three nights in second half of December not realizing the town of Espita had local pre-Christmas festivities. It was surprising at first, we were the only guests in the entire place. It was the loudest environment we have ever been, and it felt as if the loudest mariachi and DJ music was playing right in our room or we were right next to the stage (the room has no real windows but just a mesh cover to protect against bugs). The festivities lasted till 4am. So, there was absolutely no sleep pretty much all three nights. The owner never warned us about the noise level. We raised the issue after the stay but never heard back. There are no other hotels or towns in the area we could have gone to escape the noise. If we knew about the noise level, we would absolutely not stay at this property. The property management should have warned its guests, and the property probably should not be rented during local celebrations.
