Ski Hotel Katerina

Location perfect for hiking / being close to the forest and mountains if that's what you are looking for. Minimalist but ok breakfast, with nice herbal tea.

Unfortunately it wasn't too clean when I arrived, had to ask the next day to sweep some hairs and dust from the floor, looked like it wasn't really much swept before. First day i got coffee to the breakfast, the next day when I asked for the coffee i was told it's paid additionally - I said no problem, then i was charged also for the previous days coffee as well. Also lady pouring the coffee was asking if this is already enough starting from half of small espresso cup. Really weird coffee experience. Wasn't looking for luxury at all, but overall experience wasn't great, old damaged sheets and blankets etc. Price/quality ratio is not good.

Great location, great space, huge balcony, pet-friendly.

Short-staffed, nobody spoke English, everything outdated, leaky shower, questionable hygiene.

The location of the hotel is good if you travel for hiking in the mountains. The woman that was managing our reservation was actually doing everything else - she cooked us a nice dinner, serve and cleaned the table. She was nice company and offer to prepare us breakfast from the evening before as we were to depart very early in the morning. She even made us tea at no cost.

The hotel is very old, the beds were not very comfortable, the bathroom was too small and smelled bad. Still, I think the price was fair.
