My problem. I didn’t check about stairs and we were 2 floors up

Perfect location on the moor in a gorgeous pub. The food and beer selection are brilliant and the staff are all very kind and helpful. Great for a weekend walking on the moors or a quiet day at the pub. This is the second time we’ve come and have really enjoyed both.

The beds are quite firm but we still slept well

The food - Sunday lunch and breakfasts - was excellent.

We were overcharged for drinks in the bar. We queried this and received an immediate refund. We would advise checking bills.

Great location and very goood value. I eat meat but they had chef cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options which was good for a change. Beautiful views and lovely dramatic setting.

The views are fantastic we had a corner room both views over Ilkley and the moors. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food decent, breakfast was limited but well cooked.

Some creaking floors in adjacent rooms but expected from an old building
