The hotel address on Booking.com is misleading. In spite of the staff asking them to clarify that the location is actually in the village of Wookey Hole, they have not done so. To people who don't know the area, High St, Wells, sounds like the High St in Wells. It is not clear. The ensuite in the room we used, was in need of renovation. The room itself was bright, comfortable and airy.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was lovely. Room was spacious.

All rooms were up a steep flight of stairs. Bathroom shower needed grab bars.

Lovely property night queen size bed very confortable and massive bath if you love soaks The customer service from the owners was exemplary , fantastic, the best have received from a hotel or airbnb stay. Both have excellent customer service skills and welcoming. While i was there i noticed how the couple dealt with all their customers was a joy to withness.

Everthing lovely food fish and chips with green peas Couple are extremely welcoming and massive bath and confortable bed
