Staff was very attentive and friendly. Located very near to the very center of the historic center.

As it is a colonial building, the ventilation in the bathroom is not sufficient. Breakfast is simple.

"Hotel La Orquidea. Superb stay"

A fantastic stay. I can't fault anything about the hotel. A stones throw from Cuenca cathedral. Superb staff especially Vivian and Jaime. Beautiful interior and balconies. The staff went above and beyond when Latam cancelled our flight to Quito. With my lack of Spanish, they contacted Latam to see what was going on and even printed boarding passes at the hotel. Jaime on the front desk was superb. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel in beautiful Cuenca.

Beautiful property of outstanding quality. Fantastic breakfast. Best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Family run.

Unfortunately the WiFi did not work for me. Also we started watching a movie but about 20 minutes into the movie it stopped worked.
