Hotel La Orquidea

Great location in downtown and walkable to shops, restaurants and sites. The staff was friendly and helped carry our bags to our room. Room was clean and comfortable with a mini-fridge. Wifi was good. Shower was hot with good pressure. Nice breakfast with eggs, coffee/tea bread and juice.

No elevator. Price was on the higher side, but also it was a holiday week.

Breakfast was fine, location was great. Staff was attentive and friendly.

We had an interior room with little ventilation, and it got hot during the day. The only way to ventilate was by opening the door and window, reducing privacy.

Location is the only thing I can recommend

Needs major improvements - plumbing/loose floor boards/front desk phone rings early and can be heard clearly on second floor

Hotel is in a perfect location to explore the town and surrounding area. The breakfast was quite good and the staff very friendly. Wonderful little balcony off of our room and pretty view down the street.

Unfortunately because the front door is locked, they have a ringer system for everyone trying to enter (guests included). The darn ringer, like that of a loud phone, went at all hours of the night. Because of the nice high ceilings and open spaces, it was like an echo chamber and was very very loud. If it wasn't so loud (keeping from sleeping well), I would rate it higher
