Sojourn Spa Hotel Melaka

Staffs are well trained, friendly and approachable. We first being moved by buggy car from parking lot to the hotel (though it is just nearby). I love the smell and serenity feeling of the surrounding in this hotel. There is one mamak eatery and one Malay "rumah makan" nearby, in walking distance. The small disadvantage is that they don't have buffet breakfast, which I think would be an additional selling point :)

Location is alright we knew it’d be a 10 min drive to Jonker

The maintenance can do a lot better. For the property’s age & occupancy rate, surely they can afford better maintenance. There was mould on the bathroom walls, stains on walls, floor of the lift was cracked, our TV has connectivity issue which we asked for help but no one came. Service wise, we asked for room cleaning but no one came. We called the receptionist to ask at 2pm ish and they sailed housekeeping service starts at 3pm. Not sure how true is this. Asked for extra towels and the receptionist asked: Why? Because housekeeping didn’t come. But do I really need to give a reason for extra towels? I also knew the soundproofing was non existent so came with the rightful expectations.
