Sojourn Spa Hotel Melaka

The receptionists there are extremely kind and helpful. We had issues with our initial room and the front desk staff Leni assisted us with patience and professionalism. Which makes the whole experience a little more bearable. Drinking water is provided in sanitised bottles where you can refill anytime which is great.

Cleanliness is a major issue. With the price paid, hotel room is pretty worn down. Shower area was not properly separated from toilet area, drainage system wasn’t working properly and half of the bathroom would be flooded when you shower. Trying to enjoy your bath in the bathtub is no better, water would leak out and wet the floor, stains here and there in the bathroom. We requested for a change of room and got offered to switch to a Villa room type. We are grateful that Leni assisted as much as she could, but it’s worth noting that there’s another elder staff who asked whether me and my partner have slept in the bed or use the amenities in the room, as if that would make any difference. Villa is very spacious though extremely dim. When we checked in bathroom floor was recently washed which was fine until we notice there are a lot of lizard droppings along the wall in the bathroom, even some inside the bathtub. We have been upgraded to this room so we merely cleaned some up and bear with it for the rest of our stays, imagine customers who booked this room for special occasions, it would be quite a let down that the room is not even properly cleaned.

The room was very comfy, well decorated, had nice ammenities and for the price it was really really good. The staff were also super helpful and very accomodating. Also got a massage during the stay and OMG it was the best I have had so far in Malaysia

The breakfast feels a bit bland but again for the price it was more than I expected

Maybe disebabkan dia combine with spa, so masa utk mandi pool tu sgt singkat. Saya tk sempat nk bawa anak utk mandi pool. Utk breakfast meal harap dapat mempelbagaikan lg menu
