Rincon Inn and Suites

Perfect location for business trip. The room was small, but very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed, quiet ac, and something important to me, excellent lighting!! Very kind gentleman at the front desk. I will definitely return. No frills, but clean, comfortable and affordable.

Nothing "wrong", just some suggestions for capital improvements. Fortunately, I always bring a charging block for my phone; it stays in my briefcase. Even so, the only place to plug it in near the bed was under the built-in nightstand and feed the cable through the holes in the stand for this purpose. I use my phone for an alarm, so this is a necessity. Many modern lamps have a USB port on the base. Just a suggestion, so guests don't have to get on their knees to access an outlet near the bed. I didn't need one, but I didn't see an iron. Very nice hair dryer, though. This is an older, but well-maintained property. The built-in cabinets and armoire with doors are no doubt one of the next things on the agenda to be upgraded. The bed linens are excellent and tasteful. Nothing wrong with the towels, but larger, softer ones would be a nice touch to go with the nice bed linens. The bathroom shower fixtures are slightly corroded and should be on the list for improvements when the time comes. Again, spotlessly clean and totally functional. I inspect properties for banks, so I look for these things. I also travel for work, so as a customer, this property is 1st on my list for affordable, comfortable, convenient choices when I return to this area for work.

There was no breakfast. The location was perfect for visiting family nearby.

The hotel was simple but descent. It seemed well cared for and the staff was friendly. The location was very good.

There was cleaning each day but the floors seemed to stay dirty, although the type of flooring hid any dirt well. The bed was terribly soft. It felt like an air mattress that had lost a lot of air and you sank into it in weird ways.
