Very nice accommodations! Staff were wonderful. Breakfast daily was a plus. Lots of beautiful scenery and places in walking distance. Locals were very nice and we loved hearing their stories. The marine wildlife center was a great stop!

Everything was good but the continental breakfast needs improvement. The cleanliness was great. I appreciated the professionalism of the team.I would recommend staying there again with my family. A good price for the area.

Our room was spacious, clean and well-appointed with soft sheets and towels. The location of the hotel was perfect - across from the waterfront and very close to a kayaking outfitter we used. I was impressed with the breakfast buffet - I usually don't like hotel free breakfasts, but they had a great selection of food including bagels, fruit, omelettes, cereals and beverages that was pretty darn good. The workers who took care of the buffet were super friendly and attentive. And the people at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is pretty new - with a nice patio area overlooking a creek. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gateway.

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights while in Seward. It is fairly new, and in a great location close to the wharves, restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed watching them clean the day's catch at the dock after dinner. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We were on the wharf side and enjoyed that view!
