Hotel Zapa

Es passt einfach alles. Ruhige Lage unweit des Bodensees. Große geräumige Zimmer. Ein Frühstück das noch komplett am Tisch serviert wird und ein angeschlossenes Restaurant mit guter Küche. Und nicht zu vergessen der außerordentliche Service des Gastgebers Paul.

Sehr angenehmes und äußerst sauberes Haus mit sehr nettem Inhaber und gutem Frühstück.

Location, room and general ambiente in the building

Breakfast- really a joke. I asked for vegan milk and assumption was that we were vegan, especially my husband. We/my husband wasnt offered anything else than 2 slices of vegan salami. Personal- i guess it was the owner could have been more kind ;)

The staff was very professional and thoughtful! We also enjoyed our time at the hotel restaurant. The food served was above average tasty. Breakfast was very good, truly continental with local products. The location is excellent, you can really get to many places within an hour (by car).

Sauna - we found it to be a bit misleading that the guests are "free to use the sauna" when it is very limited in working hours and it's not mentioned that it is not free of charge when booking the hotel. Even when we made time to get back to the hotel early to use the sauna, there was no staff present anymore to open it for us. Room - Even though it's a quiet area, the windows that can be opened face the street and it's too loud. I'm not sure why some windows aren't allowed to be opened. The room had a strange smell which we couldn't quite air out. The smell is partly due to plumbing issues making the toilet contets come back so my recommendation is to always keep the lid and doors firmly closed! It would be nice to offer a thinner blanket on the bed, it was way too warm for me.

Great restaurant. Lovely staff. Immaculately clean.

Top floor rooms are hot in the summer .
