"Like a farm stay, but nicer!"

The breakfast was excellent. Many types of food. The setting is bucolic - on the border of the small city and agricultural land. They have their own animals too.

Friendly staff, a warm welcome, really clean and tidy. Amazing views and a lovely restaurant with a good menu. Breakfast was excellent - perfect continental blend.

There was nothing we didn’t like :)

"A real hidden gem of a hotel with excellent restaurant and welcoming team."

A hidden gem! Located a little way off the lake, this hotel and restaurant is in a quiet village and very much worth the effort to find. An excellent welcome from the owners (I guess) who spoke great English, they take great pride in their restaurant, artwork, wind sculptures and presentation. All round one of the nicest hotels we stayed in touring France/Germany/Switzerland by cycle for three weeks. The restaurant in the evening was excellent with a great 'cellar', and breakfast was served to your table with ample choice and great quality. We certainly look forward to returning for a longer stay and using the hotel as a touring base in this lovely area around Lake Konstanz. Our room was huge with a balcony, very comfortable and quiet. Secure garage storage for cycles.
