Futon beds for kids were not so comfortable. We had to wait long for hot water or between showers.

Gorgeous facilities and large rooms. Lovely staff. Everything!

Absolutely lovely boutique property, so clean, welcoming and peaceful. The beds and rooms are quite confederate, the breakfast meal was very traditionally Japanese, creative and tasty with many small precious bites. The staff was friendly and spoke English.

Just a bit out of the way from sights but truly, a very lovely stay.

Not sure why this hotel doesn’t get the recognition it deserves, because our stay here was awesome and very homey. We booked this hotel for 7 days while staying in Kyoto, and I wanted a spacious and relaxing place to come back to after all the walking and day trips we did. Housekeeping kept our room consistently clean—our bed was made every day and we got fresh towels daily as well. The staff were super accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t avail of the breakfast, but we made full use of their shared amenities like hot water, the dining area, and the microwave. They also offer laundry service at a very reasonable price. One small thing I wish they had was a full-length body mirror (lol), but overall the place is wonderful, relaxing, and super close to everything—Kyoto Station, FamilyMart, Nishiki Market, and more.

I liked that the property was close to the station but outside the crowded area. The staff was also thoughtful and kind throughout our stay.
