The location was good and I liked it.

After a long journey and having a pregnant wife, only to be given a room that had the smell of a sewage. No night manager was available, only the receptionist who at first refused to change the room for us. It took more than 2 hours of hard negotiation and threats that made the receptionist to change the room. Very disappointing!

My one night stay at Selella resort was very comfortable and the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. I was particularly impressed with Winnie, the receptionist who quickly checked me in and Liset who showed me to my room and answered my questions. I also enjoyed a lovely fish dinner in the restaurant and the waitress ( I think it was Eunice) did an excellent job as well. The room itself was very comfortable with a view of the lake. If I had a choice, I would definitely stay at Selella Resort again.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. The only setback is the bathroom which is toilet and shower combo. The instant shower is also not easy to get used to.
