close to the resturants

room was not cleaned or garbage taken out. was there 3 nights, ran out of coffee and toilet paper in the room. Light in the middle of the roof was missing and just had a plastic bag over it.

Great location - very close to the north entrance of Elk Island National Park.

I had booked this earlier in the evening. Got a confirmation number. When I got to the accommodations, the door was locked. It is located adjacent to a restaurant. I drove around the side of the building, and the young fellow was taking out the garbage and I asked him how to get to the front desk of the hotel. He said it was locked because the guy was gone for a jog. I said that I had a reservation and he said let me go call him so he called him and I waited 20 minutes and he still hasn’t showed up. This is a rural town and I was concerned that I had to find something as it was getting late so I left I had to drive 20 minutes out of my way to find another accommodation.

Very friendly staff. the price was very reasonable.

Haven't been to Lamont in a long time, came to visit some family who didn't have the room. Very surprised at the overall changes they made. The entire place from the rooms to the bar to the restaurant have been renovated and are super clean now. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant itself had pretty tasty food for a good price. The rooms aren't as cheap as they used to be, but for the upgrade it's definitely worth it.
