Hôtel La Vanoise

The location is perfect - you have a few steps from the back door by the bar, then you're straight out onto the slope by the Tufs lift. Could not be more convenient! The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful at every point during your stay. They allow you to use the dining room facilities (including kettle and microwave) in the evening, even though there's no restaurant service. Facilities are basic, but everything is functional.

No complaints at all. This isn't a 5* hotel, so don't come expecting everything to be super swanky! But the location and friendly staff make up for the basic facilities. Very sad to be told that regret are selling up after this year 😢

The location to the lift was amazing. The staff are very friendly. Great breakfast. Does not pretend to be anything it isn’t. Clean , comfortable and would definitely go back

Un hôtel 'No Thrills' très bien situé au coeur de la station, avec accès direct sur les pistes et un personnel très accueillant et connaissant bien la station. Le lit était grand (160 de large), la chambre lumineuse avec balcon vue sur les montagnes et en étage élevé. La chambre avait beaucoup de rangements, TV, Wifi et toilettes séparées et n'était pas pas exiguë. Le petit déjeuner proposait tout le nécessaire (oeufs, bon pain, fromage, jus, fruits, céréales...etc). Il y avait casier de ski, emplacement pour les chaussures, ascenceur et plusieurs espaces sympas/cosy où se retrouver dont un grand balcon baigné de soleil.

L'établissement est un peu 'dans son jus' et pourrait être mal jugé pour cela. La décoration pourrait être plus actuelle, les moquettes plus récentes, les abords plus travaillés. Mais il est très propre et tout ce qui est nécessaire est là! Le rapport qualité/prix/emplacement/service est excellent. S'il était rénové, le prix serait facilement le double. C'est bien de trouver une option comme cela au Val Claret et avec un accueil souriant!

Paul made us feel very welcome and the hotel was great considering the price and star rating. Perfect for skiing as 10 metres from the lift !

J’ai séjourné dans un hôtel 2 étoiles à Tignes pour un court séjour de deux jours avec ma compagne. La chambre était simple mais propre, avec le confort essentiel pour un séjour à la montagne. Le personnel a été accueillant et disponible, toujours prêt à donner des conseils sur la station. Le petit-déjeuner, sans être très varié, offrait des produits corrects et suffisants pour bien démarrer la journée. En résumé, un établissement modeste mais honnête, avec un bon rapport qualité-prix sans fioritures.

Salles de bain petites équipées de baignoires sabot, moins pratiques que des douches modernes. Pas de parking privé : il faut utiliser les parkings publics payants à proximité.

In the center of the ski-through plaza with ton of restaurants and is short ski away from Boullin Lift which is free. Rooms feature oversized windows and balconies.

Property is outdated, but kept well. The air in the rooms gets super dry and they don’t have humidifiers or any sort of device to help make sleeping better. I had to run the shower for 30 min to improve humidity before sleep. Few other issues: 1. there’s no coffee or tea maker in the room, and to get hot tea you have to go down to the bar where there’s a charge for such service. 2. Restroom / bath are extremely small. But this is just because the hotel itself was built in the 80s.
