Hotel Pirate Old Town

Probably the best location to stay in Ulcinj city : inside the old town & easy to reach, nice view on sea & cliffs, 2 min walk from a small beach (without much people). Very good restaurant with excellent wines. And a very friendly staff, eager to please you.

Windows shields were broken due to high wind. My 1st breakfast was poor, but the team reacted and you 2n breakfast was top.

What a view! Such friendly staff, and Nuri was so kind..very friendly ..carried our bags up to the first floor for us, and organized a taxi to the bus station as well . Best coffee from the barista! Delicious breakfast with indoor or outdoor seating..

The air conditioning in our room #2 was pretty much non existent making the room very uncomfortable to sleep

We loved staying at the hotel Pirate. The location was perfect and very quiet. Very nice personnel. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable with a wonderful view over the bay. Bathrooms modern and pleasant. The restaurant was very good too.

Unfortunately one of the rooms (we booked 2) had faulty air conditioning and in spite of telling the staff it was not repaired. It was a Sunday and I believe the Monday was a holiday so we are not holding it against them!

Great location on the edge of the old town and the water. Super nice and accommodating staff.

The view from the hotel is amazing, you see just the beauty and drama of the Adriatic. There is something special about this location in the Old Town. Overall I would much prefer staying here to one of the beachfront hotels that are numerous in Ulsinj. The breakfast was fine, it had everything one would need (though it was only from 9am which is a bit late for us).

Being in the Old Town, you have to climb up to the property and navigate lots of stone steps without handrails. Probably not a factor if you are young! I had the impression when we arrived that the hotel was just opening for the season, and was not fully prepared. The reception area and dining room were untidy. The bedroom was small and sparsely furnished and the wifi did not always work properly in the room. The room was only serviced once in the week long stay, which I do not regard as enough. The staff we met were always courteous and friendly, but I got the impression that the managers only came in now and then, thus some things were allowed to slip.
