Hotel Pirate Old Town

The hotel staff were exceptional going well beyond the call of duty to assist in whatever way possible. The breakfast was amazing.

Location is excellent, with beautiful views of the sea. The room itself was roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was good as well, with freshly made eggs.

A couple of things were disappointing. There was no real reception, so check-in was a bit weird, with the guy calling us on the phone and waiting for us outside the hotel. The room looked nice at first glance, but needs a little renovation. The wifi didn't work. Water in the shower didn't get warm, so it was the shortest shower in history. As there's no manned reception, no easy way to complain or get help. We were happy we only booked the one night. We did get a bottle of wine when we left.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location and very welcoming and attentive staff.

Views were amazing from the balcony. Personnel were very friendly. We were traveling offseason, and the late check out was possible.

Rooms are in a need of serious repair in many ways, so do not expect a five stars luxury stay. Quite a lot climbing the get to the hotel, so maybe not the best choice for older people.

Delightful hotel right in Ulcinj Old Town with gorgeous sea views from front rooms. Simple but tasteful room and bathroom design with all the small touches that make for a great stay - kettle, plenty of sockets, drinking water, safebox, decent shower. Excellent breakfast with something to suit everyone.

I loved everything. However, there are a lot of steps both to access this hotel and once you're inside so perhaps not the best choice for those with mobility issues.

Lovely hotel with a good sized room with lovely view. The dinner we had was probably the best we had in Montenegro. Obviously a good chef.

There was only one cup, one glass, one tea bag and no water in the room when we arrived. For such a lovely hotel it lack the finishing touches. The walk to the hotel was up a hill as parking is a bit away and then a steep walk up to the front door. It was quite tough pulling the suitcases up. They may need to warn people that for the elderly It’s a bit of a climb. They could do with a cart to take you up!
