Poor English speaking staff

One night guaranteed through Booking.com. Asked about staying through end of the week. Although the online booking showed no available rooms front desk Mgr Denise accommodated us with the same rate!!

Very nice staff, always ready to help foreign visitors despite the language barrier. Very clean, very safe. Spectacular breakfast, everything was tasty. Also the location is great, there's a small retail store to the side, a bank, a tea shop and several places where you can eat.

It was nog a very pleasant experience. Staff was super unfriendly and unhelpful. Booked a room with a bathtub, didn't get it. Also when you travel to China be aware of taxi drivers ripping you off everywhere you go.

Breakfast, fitness center, apartment suite

Good stay for a few days. Rooms are clean. You need to select and ask for your amenities at reception. Have to say the reception does not speak much English and struggled to get the right invoice. Buffet breakfast was mediocre for a Holiday Inn Express. They could be more variety and faster replenishment. Food was almost always gone. Restaurant isn’t big so had to wait abit for a table or a high table.

Stayed at this hotel many times over the years, always had a good experience. Rooms are very clean and house keeping does a good job of keeping the rooms very tidy during your stay. Food is ok, buffet breakfast lunch and dinner with reasonable choice. No bar but restaurant staff will serve beer and wine on request. Plenty of places to eat locally and good network for take away delivery. Recommended hotel with very reasonable cost if you are in this part of Beijing.

The hotel room is on the compact size but it was clean and comfortable. There is good lighting and USB and power outlets on the console. The bathroom is modern, clean and has good amenities. The big downer was the room temperature. We couldn’t get the system air conditioning running and it was just the heater kicking in. So the room was so harm that I was forced to open the windows to let some cool air in (but so did the noise and insects). This just wasn’t my room but all the other rooms in our group. One room was provided with a kind of fan just to alleviate the heat. Special mention goes to the breakfast buffet. Though it was all Chinese dishes, the food options were all delicious. English seems to be a big challenge for the entire front desk. And I’ve never seen a front desk area cluttered with packages, boxes and the like.
