What a great place, warm friendly with a lovely relax feel.

A very friendly host - but see below. Nice building, clean room with good facilities and a decent bathroom and shower. Excellent evening meal, though not cheap, but again, see below.

The owner is very friendly, but seems to spend so much time talking to her other guests and 'regulars' that one is left waiting around for long periods. When we first arrived, she met us in Reception and asked us to wait a minute, and then spent ages chatting to a couple of people sitting in the bar before we could check in. The evening meal was similar; the food was excellent, but we had been sitting down for 40 minutes before it was served and when we had finished and had coffee, the plates were still in front of us, not cleared away, while she chatted to other people in the bar. This may sound petty to some, but maybe we're a little old-fashioned and like a bit of traditional service, especially when we are paying a not inconsequential price for it. We decided to forgo breakfast in the morning because we were worried we wouldn't get away before lunch time!

Fantastic hosts who were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner options are available. Great location close to Menen and Wervik. Close to the canal, which was great for cycling and running. The room was comfortable and wifi worked well. We will definitely go back when we are next in the area.

Lovely relaxing 2 night stay. Room exceptional & pet friendly. Family run hotel, hosts very welcoming & could not do enough for you. A very comprehensive selection for breakfast.
