At least we had a clean bed and a warm room with a shower and toilet. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

There is clearly a cartel agreement in place between hotels in the area to squeeze maximum out of customers under a pretension that there are many events in the area! The rip-off price in excess of 200 Euros with advanced booking for a no-frills super-basic former Ibis hotel is a bit too much even for Germany. Poor ventilation, sound isolation, shower in the room, very basic self-service breakfast- all cries "cheap-cheap-cheap". Location is quite remote- you need a car to reach any place to eat.
