"Glad to be back at my favorite place in Shumen for a nice paragliding weekend."

I have been staying at hotel Rai several years in a row for the summer paragliding competition in Shumen and I was always feeling comfortable. I witnessed the extension with the second building and now I had the chance to stay at it. Very well made, stylish but keeping the comfort.

Not that the property can do anything about it but it’s located right next to the local fire brigade and you can imagine the noise when the fire engines leave the street with sirens on max volume. Of course, that’s the way it should be, fire brigade is there for a good reason but one has to be aware of this neighboring situation.
