What breakfast?

The electrical outlets could have worked. We had to buy some toilet paper.

Allowed late check out because we we having motorcycle trouble and weather was coming in.

Like stepping back in time, historic in the name fits. The room was small, but functional, with a little eating nook separate from the bedroom and bath. I was only there for one night, but the bed was comfortable, and I was glad to find a young family running the place in the small town of Leakey.

I had the Laurel room, and if I had stayed longer I might have wanted a slightly larger room, or would opt for a cabin on another stay. I was disappointed that I missed a night when the restaurant was open and it was music night but will plan better next time.

Good location

Rooms felt damp and smelled musty. Furniture needs updating. Bed mattress was comfortable, but no pillow case on pillows had to sleep on pillow shams. Water took FOREVER to get hot/ low water pressure. VERY small TV 24”

Great place to stay in the heart of the hill country! Cozy cabins with a bar and live music on premises. Rooms were clean and comfortable bed. Staff is the friendliest and accommodating as I have ever met.

Property is not paved. Had very heavy rains one night and I was not able to keep from tracking mud into the room. Not able to cancel room without a penalty.
