NOBreakfast was great (could chose between several options on a menu). Rooms were clean. Possibilities to park in a lot before you cross the bridge - because parking intown and the narrow spot right outside the hotel was not an option for us. Kratovo was one of the most special town we visited. Lots of beauty!
No-one was directly unfriendly, but we found the personell here a lot less friendly than the other parts of Macedonia we visited during our trip. Maybe it was because of lack of englishknowledge or another culture (?) We also reacted to that the reception wanted to keep our passports during our stay. In all the other places we have been to, they just took a copy.

USHotel Kratis is located just outside (as in 1 minute walk) historic center which meant no scary driving on narrow streets. Free, gated parking was provided in hotel courtyard. My room was huge, with a lovely view of one of the medieval towers. Area was quiet, bed and pillow comfortable, I slept well. The hotel has an elevator. Cook to order breakfast was included in the price and was delicious. Highly recommend, would stay again.
