Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa

Large room with comfortable bed. Pool on site. Reasonable if not exciting restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.

Air-conditioning would have been nice in this heat wave, but at least there was a fan available.

The duty manager was incredibly rude

The staff kept our room cool by closing the curtains after room service. A nice touch leaving a note to say so.

We stayed to use the location for what we needed to do. We did not have time to use all the facilities.

Reception staff were very polite, room was spacious and clean and lightning was excellent.

The staff were pleasant enough but obviously lacking experience.

Breakfast was buffet/self service which is fine but the toaster burned my toast and I had to fish it out from under the machine. Coffee was from a machine and pretty weak. The rooms need more plug sockets and having read past reviews this is an issue that has not been addressed. We didn't park there as got a taxi but the parking charge just comes across as greedy especially with the price of the rooms. 1 night was enough.

The staff on reception were lovely , couldnt do enough. The spa was lovely , pool really warm and lucky enough to have the pool to myself for a while. This is our go too hotel when visiting family

The bar was very overprices. £16 for rum and coke? was very slow service, was waiting a while for drinks and food, seemed more bothered about getting drinks for the restaurant next door
