The Orchid Hotel - Old Town & Drum Tower

Outstanding staff, non touristy location, seriously great Mediterranean food at Toast for breakfast and dinner- we ate there every morning - and great Cantonese food. The hotel is in a series of very old courtyard houses equipped with modern but rustic rooms. We loved the neighborhood feel and immersion experience. We loved the staff and felt at home.

Amazing greeting from the host with tea made for us on arrival. Accommodation was super clean and comfortable. Felt truly traditional so was a great way to experience Beijing from.

Erg vriendelijke staf, die je ontvangt met thee. Het hotel heeft meerdere overheerlijke restaurants en daarnaast een eigen specialty bakery. Wij vonden het een oase in de hutong.

Google Maps brengt je naar de verkeerde plek, maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen.

Przemiła obsługa, bardzo pomocna, zaangażowana pyszne jedzenie, oczywiście wspaniała herbata i domowa piekarnia w sercu hotelu, zapachy domowego ciasta kusząco sie roznoszą po całym obiekcie. Świetna lokalizacja, blisko jeziora, marketu, stacji metra.

Attention aux puristes du "noir total", occultation efficace mais pas complète dans certaines suites

Our stay at the Orchid hotel was excellent. The room was lovely, the bed was comfy, the staff were amazing, and the two attached restaurants were really good. P.s go for the canton food 😋
