KTDC Rain Drops Hotel

I liked the room and the location because I needed to go to Apollo. The towels were not looked after properly. The food was not good for Western people with lighter and less spicy food needs.

Wifi service was very poor.

Overall good

Almost ok.

Staff including the housekeeping are very friendly.

There needs to be more cleanliness. The property is lacking routine maintenance.

Location

Small cockroaches in the room. Dust in light fittings. Long delay room service food orders.

• Location is very convenient, especially being close to Apollo Hospital. • Big outside area, good for walking and relaxing. • Staff are polite and very helpful. • Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and toilet towels are clean. • Room service is responsive and satisfactory. • Ample parking space available.

Needs Improvement: • Lots of mosquitoes around the property. • Cockroaches are visible even in the dining area – proper pest control is urgently needed. • Lift is very old and extremely slow. • Dining food quality is very average and breakfast spread is limited. • Room and bathroom cleanliness can be improved. • WiFi connection is weak. • Interiors look outdated and require renovation.

For night dinner Idli / Dosa items were not available. That also could be included , Tariff is bit higher only. Being a KTDC Hotel , if rate is reduced it will be very comfort.
