"Highly Recommended."

Very kind owner let us in for late night arrival, showed us everything. Place was SO beautiful, and felt like we had to ourselves. Bathrooms were always open and available, felt like private baths. Highly recommend. This unique and stunning property. Very low price for what you get.

"Classic NZ country town hotel"

Hotel had character, comfortable bed and very clean. Host was friendly and knowledgeable. Quiet location, whilst close to SH1.

Shame it doesn’t have breakfast, but has cafe opposite (and more short drive away).
