Hotel Cozumel Costa Brava

One of cheapest places to stay in Cozumel. Nice restaurant at the entrance of the hotel. Fridge in the room. Nice lady owner.

I just got back from the beach, I was in my swimsuit and about to change... I saw an old man checking through my window, then I heard his key and he just entered into my room, without knocking! I shouted for him to leave. After I changed back, I went outside in the corridor and saw him doing the same on next door (checking if someone is inside and enter). I guess he is the cleaner as he has all keys for each room. But thats a very creepy way of working

the location is perfect! I couldn’t believe it was just across the street from where I was going to visit my friends who were in town with the cruise ship. It also had a charming old fashioned feel to it, and the staff were very sweet and kind.

It didn’t feel particularly clean (questionable red smear on the floor, giant dead bug…) and there weren’t shower things like shampoo or conditioner… there was a very small towel which was probably a bath mat, but it’s all that was provided so if I’d decided to take a shower (opted out due to staying one night), I would have had to dab myself off inch by inch haha.

Comfortable beds, kind host speaks little English.
