Problems in bedroom not repaired...

A small rural hotel in the middle of the countryside, among wine vines, as they are also a winery, where everything is well cared for and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. The rooms are nicely decorated (maybe too much for me...) with nice, quality and well cared furnitures. The swimming pool is lovely, with beautiful views and the staff go out of their way to help and please. Especially a lovely guy who works in the kitchen whom has excellent English. As it is 20km from the nearest town, we had dinner at the hotel. The food is OK, but nothing exceptional and the price is higher than average for same quality, around 20%. We had problems paying by credit card, but they eventually sorted it out. Breakfast is very good.

The rooms have some design flaws, the shower curtain is poorly designed and leaks a lot of water and the room is so full of furniture that no one can get to look in the mirror and you can hardly get the chairs out to use the table.

A place to avoid. While arriving at the hotel late Friday afternoon we have been told our reservation was canceled. No compensation or suitable solution proposed. They absolutely do not care about their customers.

We never got our paid room and neither refund for it. Hotel contacted me and asked me to cancel my booking. I couldn’t do that without paying. They said they cannot cancel it themselves. I called them several times and didn’t understand what was the issue. I didn’t want to cancel it. They didn’t speak English and at one call they gave the phone to someone who was clearly drunk and he tried to explain something in broken English. So we never got our accommodation but they took our money. Booking com did not help us either. I cannot recommend this or booking dot com
