Hotel Kokoro Mineral Hot Springs

A nice hotel right in the touristy area. great views over looking the arenal volcano. The mineral springs are a really nice adddition and place to relax after a day hiking.

Beautiful grounds with well kept landscaping. Somethings were falling apart and needed maintenance. Also there is a coffee maker in the room but no amenities like coffee or condiments like sugar or a stir stick.

This was our second stay at Hotel Kokoro and I was worried that it wouldn't live up to my memory but it didn't disappoint. We had a lovely spacious cabin with the biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is one of the best I have had in Costa Rica, the pool was lovely and I enjoyed time in the hot spprings. We will book again next time we visit.

The grounds are beautiful. We had a sloth encounter that was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are “rustic” . Hot water was inconsistent, but it’s hot in CR, so who needs that much hot water? The AC struggled in the daytime to keep the room cool. Very cool at night though. Beds are just the right firmness. Location was amazing. Woke up to volcano views every day. The staff was exceedingly kind. The linens smelled SUPER clean. If you are looking to see la Fortuna on a budget this is the spot. Breakfast was included and was delightful.

The food at breakfast was great but we ate in the restaurant one evening and both the food and service were a bit disappointing (quite slow)

Great location and views. The hotel has it’s own nature trail where we saw snake, armadillo, spiders, birds, etc.

Pool is outdated with falling tiles

Beautiful and lush! Wonderful view of Arenal volcano. Quiet and relaxing.

Had a great stay here. Staff went out of their way to accommodate.
