clean,nice pool, good breakfast, excellent restaurant, nice staff

My partner and I stayed there for two nights and absolutely fell in love with this place. It is located at a reasonable distance from many attractions (Buçaco forest, Coimbra, etc.) if you have a car but allows for peaceful nights due to its quiet surroundings. The view from our room was incredible and they allow you to roam around their vineyard/olive trees plantation at your leisure (they even give you a little history tour if you want it !). The room itself was clean, modern and spacey enough for us to be really comfortable. We also had an included breakfast which was absolutely delicious and full enough to fuel a good part of our day. Lastly, we can’t overlook the amazing service provided to us by the host, Vanessa, who made sure we were constantly happy and not missing anything to ensure a pleasant stay, she was very lovely :) We really recommend this place to anyone looking for a picturesque escape !

The property is a hidden gem. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We began our stay with a tour of the working farm (olive oil and wine). Maria our host went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. The area is beautiful and the restaurant was excellent with a superb wine list. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Highly recommend this beautiful property

Nice small new hotel. Very friendly personal. It has a small place where they make olive oil. Besides that they serve their own wine. The owner gave us a tour. It is a very quiet place with lovely food.

Everything was just perfect! Everyone was very kind and welcoming. A very nice garden with a pool and nice view. Breakfast has great variety and quality. And the restaurant is one of the best I have dined in Portugal. We will be back for sure.

Everything was above average, the kindness of the host, the tour of the facilities (they produce red wine and olive oil), the room has storage space and is comfortable to walk around in, the bathroom is clean and pleasant to the eyes (the shower and sink are lovely pieces) and the breakfast is very good. There is a very nice pool on the outside and lots of grass for you to walk around, sunbathe or let your kids fool around in. Everything was kept in great clean conditions They have a restaurant in the facilities, Safra Restaurante, and I have to say, if you enjoy fine cuisine you are set for the stay of your life because I personally doubt I wouldn't like any of the dishes they serve there. Everything we tried was superb, and what we didn't get a chance to try, we saw passing by our table and let me add that everything looked and smelled deliciously. There is magic going on in that kitchen, it's the only explanation :) The restaurant staff is also super kind and professional. The wine they produce locally costs 15€ a bottle, above average price for a bottle of wine, but we tried it and ended up buying some bottles to bring home, so yes, if you enjoy red wine you should definitely try this one, not only because it's made locally in a less industrialised manner (you can tell when drinking that the process is natural) but this wine won't be available anywhere else, so keep that in mind and take advantage of it!

The lack of sound proofing in the rooms made it not only possible to listen to the other guests TV at night, but we were awaken in the morning by the use of a shower on the adjacent room to us. This alone makes it impossible for us to grade this stay a 10. This and also due to the fact that the blackouts don't stop the sunlight from lighting up the room in the morning. I understand that if we had stayed in another room, this two problems might not even had occurred, but we must be fair to what we experienced. We also weren't very fond of the mattress, we didn't find it comfortable/relaxing to sleep in. Other than this our stay was excellent and we may even return in the summer, but to a different room :)
