You need to climb up to the 2 nd floor. Room is very small and toilet, shower area are very cramped. Not enough space to stand properly
GBAUI had a fairly basic room but that was my budget choice and it did the job for my requirements. The owner was friendly and accommodating of several requests. No loud noises during the night and A/C worked fine.
They do have wifi but that wasn’t clear in the room (from what I can tell) and I only found it in the site FAQs
GBGreat location a few minutes' walk from the beach and shops, restaurants, ATMs. Comfortable bed, spacious room, quality AC and shower. What makes it a step above though is the owner, Nawab and how helpful and well informed he is. He arranged my onward travel for me, handling purchasing tickets,.directions, and made it easy. Also there is luggage storage to leave large cases if travelling around the island before returning to Colombo. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend to first-time visitors (like me) and returners.
