"Far better than appearances would suggest"

The location is on a very busy roundabout, next to the railway…but that all dies down in the evening. The rooms have been refurbished and everything is clean, works properly and there was even hot water!! Staff were lovely too. Best place I’ve stayed in, for the price, in Sri Lanka…recommended😊

Great location, clean basic room. We used it for 1 night as it's next to Fort railway station and we caught an early train. Clean, good shower and bed.

"City beds is good for short stay and easy access to city center"

Near to the Colombo city center

Room is not sound proof. It can hear loud train noise. Also, no water bottles or kettle in the room

The proximity with the train station

- No one to welcome us when we arrived, we were locked out for 20 minutes at 02.00 am - Rats in the stairs leading to the room
