The Mist Holiday Bungalow

We had a wonderful stay at Mist Holiday Bungalow in Haputale while hiking Pekoe Trail Stage 12. After a long day on the trail, this guesthouse was the perfect place to relax and recover. The hospitality and service were exceptional from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding hills and misty scenery that Haputale is famous for. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal stop for hikers and travelers looking to unwind. The food was fresh and delicious, and the overall experience felt very personal and welcoming. We highly recommend Mist Holiday Bungalow to anyone doing the Pekoe Trail or visiting Haputale. Excellent service, great hospitality, and a memorable stay!

The view was splendid. The shower had hot water

Quiet dirty. The bed felt dirty, the floor was dirty, hairs and old soap. There was many mosquitoes and no net, no spray no fan.. we couldn’t sleep at all cause of the terrible mosquitoes and to top it up, there was a huge karaoke happening in the floor below us…

Acceuil adorable par le propriétaire dont la femme parle un peu français, la vue est fantastique depuis la chambre, ils nous ont offert plusieurs pot de thé et se sont montrés très sympas avec notre fils de 5 ans.une belle adresse. Si vous passez par là n'hésitez a aller manger chez ali "crispy restaurant" le patron est extraordinaire expérience typiquement locale!

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu mieux on nous a posé 1 barquette de beurre, 1pot de confiture, un paquet de pain de mie dans son emballage, 2 oeufs avec saucisse et des bananes , les autres établissements font bcp mieux au même prix, après c'est un détail laaaargement compensé par la gentillesse du propriétaire. Massage pas ouf mais c'est une question de point de vue pour moi pas assez fort.
