Hogs Back Hotel & Spa Nr Farnham

Lovely room,comfy bed for two people, although it is not a requirement for 3*hotel,we had treasure in our room. The food was delicious in the restaurant. Served on time,hot, fresh. We booked our room with breakfast,which was fine. Guest have choicebetween hot food ,cereals, fruits, english breakfast,fresh croissant, and variety of teas,hot chocholate,latte, flat white etc .

Although the room was booked for a couple,we had only one big towel for us. There are 3 choices for room cleaning. The we chave choosen the refresh,which including fill the tea ,sugar, milk holder up,move the rubbish,make bed,and we asked for the extra towels. The room cleaner did not come in the room during our stay. It was a deep ignorance by the cleaner,which is not acceptable.

I was really surprised there was no A/C in the rooms, just a small fan, which for one person is ok, but not for two people. Also, no Telephone in the room, I've never known it in all the hotels I have visited. What if there was an emergency? It maybe hard to believe, but not everyone has a mobile phone. Do you have a procedure in place?

Facilities were great. Lovely spa.

Pillows were hard. Could do with softer pillows or a choice

The lady in reception who checked me in was welcoming and accommodating.

I went to the pool at 7am and there was no one at the counter to check me into the pool area. The young lady on duty in reception on my 2nd day was not very helpful or accommodating in trying to sort out the problem.

Grumpy receptionist - (fixated about the car park) room very warm - (had to be moved to another) - no air conditioning in rooms ?? - (very unsual these days ?!) Wifi slow

Loved the location and facilities. The staff were lovely too.

There was no air conditioning in any of the bedrooms and given the heat this week, it made the rooms unbearable. Although there was a fan in each room, it was still unbearably hot.

Lovely pool and views. Staff were lovely and the menu was surprisingly good with a lot of great options. Beds were lovely.

The rooms were unbearable in the heat. No aircon and only a couple of fans to cover 2 adults and 2 children. This really needs to change.

Great staff. Lovely food. Clean room.

No drinks allowed in the spa, would have been nice to have tea etc. Some areas in spa looked tired.
