The Palace Hotel is an excellent place to stay! The staff are friendly, the meals are very good and the ambience is quiet and very restful. This was my second time staying here and I had a room in the main building which was absolutely lovely!

Nothing! The Palace Hotel is simply outstanding.

The staff is amazing! They are friendly, helpful, and made my stay absolutely perfect! I was able to do my laundry and used the hotel clothes line to dry. The restaurant staff were equally wonderful. There is also a lovely garden to sit and relax.

Nothing! Although it might appear that the hotel is outside of town, it is actually an easy walk into the center on Mbarara. Being just a bit out of the middle of town means the hotel is very quiet!

Quiet place, comfortable beds, and the staff was very helpful and flexible, as we had a late check-in

Good position, clean room. Anyway, a mattress cover between the plastic mattress and the linens would be appreciated.

Very noisy at night/evening, people talking loud till late, noise from the parking outside very close to the window of the ground floor. No internet in the morning due to a black out, and even the backup generator was not working, this can be challenging for travelers that can only rely on the WiFi of the hotels where they stay briefly..
