Casa Avé Maria

It is a small hotel with all rooms on the top floor, located very close to the sanctuary, from the balcony you have views of the Shrine and the Basilica of Our Lady. Room was adequately equipped for our stay, but the highlight was the hosts and staff who went above and beyond expectation.

The host went above and beyond. When we arrived, he walked us to our room, showed us the balcony and pointed out all the things we should see while in Fatima. The location is right by the Fatima shrine - you can see it from the room’s balcony. The included breakfast was fabulous. The room was clean and beautiful. Of all the places we stayed while traveling in Europe, this was our favorite.

The hotel was much better than I expected, very close to Fatima, which was what i wanted as my mum has problems walking long distances We could hear the church bells from our rooms and see the candle procession from our balcony. Filipe and his wife were amazing hosts, always asking if we were ok and if we needed anything else. Breakfast was very good as well as the food at their restaurant.
