Casa Avé Maria

The hotel is in a fabulous location, almost across the street from the Fatima Sanctuary. The room was very clean with a wonderful bathroom and balcony. The staff were very friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was also top! I would definitely stay here again!

I didn't have time to stay more than one night.

We liked it’s closeness to the Sanctuary.

It was a challenge finding a restaurant that was open during the weekend.

The hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the basilica and other important sites. Our rooms are bright and airy with comfortable beds, and had a small balcony with a view of the basilica. The hosts are friendly and very helpful.

The property is so convenient to the Santuario De Fatima and very well maintained and a nice place to stay and my room has a balcony so I can see the Fatima church l. The manager/host Filipe is a very welcoming person.

This is a very close location to Fatima. I've been at Casa Ave Maria, and it feels like home. Filipo, our guest, was always present, and his wife treated us like family at the restaurant. The tourist train has a station very close!

Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at Avé Maria, and it exceeded all my expectations! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the interior design was absolutely stunning, with a modern yet cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The service was top-notch; every staff member was kind, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. We received discounts on both our room and the on-site restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is also excellent, within walking distance of the Sanctuary of Fátima, which made it incredibly convenient for us to visit this beautiful and important site. Additionally, the hotel arranged for me to visit a local gym and even organized a driver to take me there and pick me up afterward – truly above and beyond! I’m already looking forward to my next stay at Avé Maria . If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, excellent service, and thoughtful details, this is the place to be!

It’s literally just next to the sanctuary! Host was very hospitable and went all out to ensure that we were comfortable. The Breakfast was excellent.

Clearer signage and direction to locate the property could be useful. The accommodation is upstairs of a cafe and the entrance is the entrance of the cafe - who would have known! Digital key would be awesome; especially for main glass door coming into the property after the cafe is closed at night. Although the neighborhood felt safe, somehow a sense of security is not really there.

If we could give 15 stars, we certainly would! The room was clean and very comfortable. The location couldn't be better. We think it is the most PRIME location for visiting the Fatima Shrine. From the balcony in our room we could see and hear many of the activities at the shrine. The included breakfast was wonderful with an assortment of foods and fresh squeezed orange juice, in an elegant setting . It was great having the bar and restaurant on the same property - delicious food, very reasonably priced. But as amazing as this property is, the family that runs it is even more so. Felipe and his wife excel in caring for their patrons. We hated to leave. Don't let the low price fool you-this is a first class operation!!
