The staff are very friendly. Nothing is too much bother for them.

The room was not very clean. The net curtains on the window in room 124 need to be thrown out. They were absolutely filthy and had what seemed to be cigarette burns on them. There was also a lot of dust around

"Genuine dog friendly experience just off the M6"

Despite being a chain hotel, staff at the Holiday Inn went out of their way to accommodate our dog, to make it a true dog-friendly experience, rather than simply tolerated. Our dog was able to join us for meals in the bar area.

"We will visit again."

We really like this hotel for its location when travelling from central Scotland to the south of England - great half way stop near the motorway. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and very good food. They were very busy with two tours but all staff remained calm and upbeat and nothing was amiss. We booked last minute so they could not oblige us with our bed choice, but that was okay.
