"Great friendly pub"

We stayed two nights with our dog. Our room was lovely and the bed was amazingly comfortable with gorgeous bedding. We ate dinner one night.. Steak.. Fabulous! Cooked breakfast was very tasty.. Wonderful eggs. Live music on one of the evenings which was an added bonus.

"Quaint little country pub with lovely rooms to let."

The room was lovely, comfy bed and great bathroom.

Check in wasn't as smooth as it could've been, however the lady was trying to run the bar at the same time as seeing to the hotel side of things. The main disappointment was the breakfast. It sounded nice but eggs were overcooked, Hollandaise sauce tasted like vinegar and service again felt a bit disorganised. It wouldn't put me off staying again, however I would skip breakfast next time.

"Pleasant, particularly enjoyed quiz night."

Breakfast was OK. Staff were pleasant. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows were especially good.

Would have liked fresh towels each day and the tea tray in the bedroom refreshed each day.
