La Venta de Miyares - Casa de Indianos

It is a nice old house in the small village.

The property was listed as having a restaurant and a bar but there was no restaurant or bar in the house. The owner offered toasts and sandwiches for dinner menu and a small selection of vines. The continental breakfast included in the price of the room consisted only of toasts, jam and coffee. We would never selected that house if we were properly informed that there is no restaurant or bar in the house. There was no restaurant in the village and a closest one was quite far away. We already complained to booking.com about false advertising.

I visited La Venta de Miyares with my wife and two children and we all loved it here! Our expectations were high based on previous reviews and we were not dissapointed! The house and the surrounding area is simply stunning and Carmen was a helpful, welcoming and pleasant host. Our room was spacious, clean and beatiful. The breakfast was excellent and there is a small but very good selection of simpler dishes available for dinner as well. We had a perfect time here and if we ever go back to Asturias we will make sure to return.

A very elegant boutique hotel with lovely garden in a nice quiet village. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were very nice. Very grand room & en suite. Highly recommended!

It was wonderful

It was a full experience rather than just a place to sleep in. The house is beautiful and full of artifacts. The garden is very well kept the views of the mountains are astonishing. Carmen, the owner, is so personable and helpful with every single detail. Communication was very easy. We loved being able to eat dinner there, in a beautiful outdoor covered terrace, relaxing after a day in the Covadonga Lakes. The lakes are about an hour away (30 minutes from the bus stop to go up), and the road is winding so not the easiest in the dark or with fog - plan accordingly. Totally worth it! We recommend it to everyone!

This was a place to stay and we really enjoyed it. The host was incredibly kind and helpful and pointed us to two terrific restaurants a short cab ride away. I would definitely stay here again!
