Whalley Abbey - B&B and Retreat House

Door pech erg laat gearriveerd. Was geen probleem'en zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Prachtige lokatie en een schitterende abdij

Badkamer zeer proper en top. Slaapkamer eerder basic maar was op voorhand tijdens het booken wel duidelijk en zit totaal in de opzet van hrt hele gebeuren

breakfast, friendly breakfast staff and beautiful gardens

Bad beds. Dirty. Lack of staff around. Tiny showers.

The breakfast was good as was the service, The location was ideal for visiting the area in an attractive setting. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly.

Although we enjoyed our stay, the restrictive height in the room could be problematic. We also reported the toilet was not flushing efficiently,

Breakfast was basic and served in a refectory. Well cooked though.

There was a very intrusive green light which stayed on all night in the disabled room. It caused my wife to have hardly any sleep. The other guests said they didn't have it in their rooms. I would suggest moving the light into the bathroom. Lovely location in a lovely village. We ate at the Vault on the Main Street which was excellent. Such a shame about the green light which spoiled our visit.
