Rooms are nice, but that's the only positive.

I would never come back! We had two rooms. In one room there was very bad fungus on the back of the bathroom door. Unbelievable that they gave this room to a guest. This will make people sick. In the other room the AC was not working. They moved us apparently to better rooms. There the bed sheets were dirty. They had to change it three times until they found stainless ones. The staff changing the sheets are not trained at all. The bed sheets are too short for the bed. By morning you will be sleeping on the mattress. With this hygiene level you don't want that. The bathroom in the first floor was right above the kitchen. Its very hot in there with all the smells of the kitchen. Staff was very friendly but I think that's part ot this scam. I think a lot of people book this hotel because it's very central and there isn't any other hotel with this nice room. But the stat of the bathroom and hygiene are very bad and I'd rather stay a bit further away than here.

We loved the food.. Specially malabar chicken curry was amazing. They stay was also very peaceful

Can't find a hotel that is located in such a perfect location to backwaters yet cheap and has one of the biggest rooms I have seen in India. The shower takes time initially but gets hot. Rooms are big, beds are huge and have mirrors on the walls. Closets are big if you keep clothes there. They also recommended backwaters person who gave us 5 hours ride around backwaters and lakes!

Breakfast is usually a buffet of idly, dosa, puri sabji with coffee and chai. It is good but repetitive.
